Growing up in Jamaica, Zoe Stallings, MD, saw family members die from preventable and treatable diseases due to lack of health care. Preventing such diseases inspired her to pursue a career in medicine.
Stallings approaches patient care as a partnership. “I believe in trust and transparency. I want my patients to be honest with themselves and with me.”
“I have been a patient, and I understand the anxiety and stress of not knowing what is happening. So I communicate with my patients clearly and educate them about what is happening with their care.”
In her free time, Stallings loves to cook and shop at the farmer's market. “Cooking for my family is a great stress reliever.”
She plans to stay in Greensboro because it’s a great place to raise a family.
“I treat every patient as an individual and believe in balance in all things. I often encourage patients to choose positive lifestyle changes that are sustainable long term rather than trends.” - Zoe Stallings, MD
