Biography

Board certified in neurology, clinical neuropathy and sleep medicine, Richard A. Sater, MD, Ph.D., is the director of the Multiple Sclerosis Center at Guilford Neurologic Associates.

Known for actively engaging his patients in the decision-making process, he provides comprehensive care and the latest treatments for patients with multiple sclerosis and other complex neurologic disorders.

Dr. Sater has authored more than 20 articles or chapters regarding immunology, multiple sclerosis and other aspects of neurology. He is a former member of the Healthcare Advisory Board of the National MS Society Carolinas chapter.
