Biography
Kenneth Barnes, MD, MSc., CAQSM, FACSM, FAMSSM, specializes in pediatric and adolescent medicine, internal medicine, sports medicine and urgent care medicine. His professional interests include acute issues, non-operative musculoskeletal medicine, fracture diagnosis and management, and simple and complex lacerations.
A big picture problem solver with extensive experience across ages and with athletes, he takes a holistic approach when caring for each person’s needs. Using evidence-based medicine, he believes medicine is a calling and genuinely wants to make a difference in the lives of his patients.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, collaborating with colleagues on research, cultivating his spiritual life and volunteering in the community. His hobbies include hiking, cycling, meditating and going to the gym.
