Biography
Joanna Linn, PhD, LCMHCS, LCAS, CCS, is a licensed clinical mental health clinician, licensed clinical addiction specialist, and certified clinical supervisor in both areas. Since 2005, she has practiced counseling with special interests in depression, anxiety/stress, substance use disorders, process addictions, couple/marriage therapy and major life transitions.
She uses diverse approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy and evidence-based couples’ therapy. By being authentic and building trust, she facilitates growth toward healing and wholeness. She uses a flexible approach and considers learning styles, assessments, aspirations in therapy and individual preferences to inform treatments.
In her spare time, she enjoys half marathons and kayaking.
