Hilary McCormick, MD, is the medical director for The Tim and Carolynn Rice Center for Child and Adolescent Health. She is originally from the Chicago area, but has moved all over the country for her education. She remained in the San Francisco Bay area for several years after her pediatric residency, working with the Oakland Children’s Hospital.
She has been in Greensboro since 2003 with either Cone Health or Triad Adult and Pediatric Medicine. Her clinical interests include access to care for underserved children, integrated behavioral health, and teaching pediatric residents. Her husband, Stephen Holland, is a professor at UNCG wherehe is doing research on energy and environmental economics including research on environmental effects of electric cars. They have two daughters, ages 12 and 13.
She keeps a large vegetable garden, makes bread as a family several times a week and enjoys contra dancing. She is planning a backpacking trip at Rocky Mountain National Park this summer.
