Ashleigh Shambley, DNP, AGPCNP-BC, is an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner with a doctor of nursing practice degree. She specializes in adult and geriatric medicine.
After beginning her career as a registered nurse in the emergency department, she became a primary care nurse practitioner to help those in her community live happier, healthier lives and hopefully, stay out of the hospital.
Health promotion and disease prevention are cornerstones of her healthcare philosophy. Compassionate and helpful, she enjoys working with adult patients.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, trying new foods, fixing up her house, attending local events and spending time with her family, friends and pets, which include a dog and talking parrot.
