Anita Pardo, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor specializing in behavioral medicine. She is also certified to provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing trauma therapy (EMDR), a psychotherapy treatment designed to alleviate distress.
Her professional interests include depression, anxiety, trauma, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, unresolved grief, ADD/ADHD, parenting issues and behavioral pain management.
A respectful, non-judgmental professional, she views therapy as an opportunity for patients educate her about themselves and for her to counsel them with options, strategies and the understanding necessary for a path of change.
A Piedmont Triad native, she has two children in college. Her hobbies include hiking, traveling and practicing yoga.
