Biography

Andrew Kirsteins, MD, is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. His specialties include sports medicine and neuromuscular medicine. He speaks English and Latvian.

His interests and training bridge the gap between neurologic, muscular and skeletal issues, enabling him to address these inter-related systems. Supportive and collaborative, he educates patients on ways to improve their health. After taking time to define each patient’s issues as accurately as possible, he empowers them to actively participate in their treatment plan.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, fitness training, practicing Tai-Chi and reading.

“I have a passion for maximizing my patients’ functional potential. This may range from improving a stroke patient’s walking ability to a weekend warrior’s tennis serve.” – Andrew Kirsteins, MD

I would hesitate to recommend Dr. Kiersteins. He is very caring and kind,
