Services & Treatments We Offer

You’ll work with your ENT doctor to create a treatment plan that fits your needs. We recommend conservative treatments when possible, but we also have experience performing a wide range of surgical treatments, including:

  • Adenoidectomy – Removes adenoid glands in the throat
  • Ear tube placement – Helps prevent ear infections and allow ear fluid to drain
  • Ear wax removal – Uses special tools to safely clean ears
  • Laryngoscopy – Examines the back of your throat, including your larynx (voice box)
  • Nasal surgery, including septal reconstruction and turbinate reduction – Corrects breathing problems
  • Removal of head and neck tumors
  • Rhinoplasty – Nose reshaping
  • Sinus surgery – Treats recurring sinus infections or removes tumors
  • Tonsillectomy – Removes the tonsils
  • Tympanoplasty – Repairs a hole in the ear drum (tympanic membrane)

Co-Located Ear & Hearing Care

If you need a hearing test, you’ll appreciate the convenience of an audiology practice in the same building as your CHMG ear, nose and throat doctor. We’ll coordinate your appointments, so you can see James J. Crossley, MD, or Christopher E. Newman, MD, and an audiologist from Pahel Audiology & Hearing Aid Center in a single visit.

Do I Need A Doctor to Remove Ear Wax?

If your ear feels full or plugged up and you’re experiencing pain, hearing loss or dizziness, you may have a buildup of ear wax, or cerumen impaction. Count on a CHMG otolaryngologist to quickly and safely clean your ear canals using special medical tools. (Trying to clean your ear with a cotton swab or other object can actually cause more problems by pushing the wax in even farther.)

Get Appointments Quickly

Count on prompt ear, nose and throat care from your CHMG physician. In many cases, when you call to schedule an appointment, you’ll be able to see your ENT within 48 hours.
